Charles Taylor's family ejected from calabar mansion

According to a story in Encomium magazine, the family of former Liberian president and war crimes prisoner, Charles Taylor, have been ejected from their N2.5million per year rented mansion in Diamond Hills in Calabar, Cross Rivers state. The family he left behind in Calabar as he faced criminal charges in The Hague were ejected because they were unable to per their rent. The house belongs to Dr. Joseph Wayas, the Second Republic Senate President.
His wife and kids, who have since been abandoned by the former president's friends and business associates, now live in a small flat at the state housing estate along Murtala Mohammed highway in Calabar. No aides, no cruising of luxury cars, no partying, no money to spend lavishly. That's their new life now.

Charles Taylor was forced to resign as president and take up political asylum in Nigeria. He arrived Nigeria with his family on August 12, 2003 but was extradited in 2006 to stand trial for war crimes.

In 2012, he was found guilty of all 11 counts of "aiding and abetting" war crimes and crimes against humanity.

MOST INFLUENTIAL COUPLES IN THE WORLD

These power duos prove that whether they're tackling global crises or ruling the world, sometimes it takes two. Here's a look at 10 of the world's most powerful couples:

Michelle and Barack Obama

With 67% of Americans viewing first lady Michelle Obama favorably, she's more popular than her husband. The President has never been shy about publicly expressing his adoration for his wife; in his election night victory speech, Obama gushed, "I have never been prouder to watch the rest of America fall in love with you too as our nation's first lady."

Melinda Gates and Bill Gates

With a net worth of $67 billion, Bill Gates is the United States' richest man, and through the work of the foundation he founded and runs with wife Melinda, he's also the world's most generous. The couple's Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation last year gave away $3.4 billion, and its primary goals this year have been to eradicate polio worldwide by 2018 and get modern contraceptives to another 120 million women by 2020; the Foundation has committed $140 million annually to this cause. Melinda, a Duke alum, delivered a commencement address at her alma mater this spring and encouraged the Class of 2013 to recognize “the boundless dignity of all people.”

NOTORIOUS B.I.G CLOTHING

T’yanna Wallace, the daughter of late Notorious B.I.G, is paying tribute to her father in a major way.
Just a day after what would’ve been Biggie’s 41st birthday, the 19-year-old launched a fashion line of  T-shirts and hats in his honor, titled “Notoriouss Clothing.”

I love it when you call me ... BIG CLOTHING MOGUL -- at least, that's what Christopher Wallace's daughter is aspiring to become after launching a fashion line named after her dad.

19-year-old T'yanna Wallace has officially hit the market with "Notoriouss" -- a line of shirts and other fashion items.

One interesting point -- one of the t-shirt designs has imagery of guns on the front -- an odd choice considering the manner in which Wallace died back in 1997.

Microsoft's Xbox One: FOR THE GAME LOVERS

Microsoft has unveiled the new Xbox, and it's called Xbox One. It's Microsoft's first new console in more than seven years. Yes, we've had many expectations for this console, especially since Sony and Nintendo have already taken their first steps in the next-gen landscape. Here's what you need to know that was announced at Microsoft's event in Redmond, Wash.

The Xbox One

The original Xbox debuted in the fall of 2005, which feels like a million years ago...even if it's only seven and a half. It's high time for a new console, even if some tech pundits are questioning the value of gaming hardware platforms in the current age.

Design
The Xbox One is large, sleek, and black, and looks like a piece of AV equipment. The controller and Kinect unit are redesigned, too: the Kinect and Xbox One, in particular, sport sharp-angled, glossy-black boxy looks. As a set, the Xbox One really does feel like some elaborate piece of home theater gear...and considering its mission to knit entertainment together into a modern all-in-one package, that's clearly intentional. It also looks awfully big, compared with current-gen consoles and how they've slimmed down.
The name "Xbox One" suggests a reboot, a fresh start. Maybe from this day forward, Microsoft's connected living-room PC strategies will spring from the Xbox One. Or, it'll just a be a very good gaming console.

Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria, Isabella Ayuk Talks About Her Romance With Deputy Speaker

The 2013 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria has decided to come out and address the rumors that she is involved in a relationship with Deputy Speaker, House of Reps, Hon Emeka Ihedioha.
Below is what she said in a recent interview:
“As an MBGN winner, there will always be stories about one thing or the other. It’s a normal thing. The story is hilarious and not true. People should learn to get their facts right. These people actually do not have names or faces. At first, it was the story of how I lied about my age, then came the dethronement story. Now this! Where were these people when I went for MBGN twice and finished top 10 and won best traditional costume award? And in 2012, with determination and persistence, I won and people who were obviously not happy about my victory cooked up stories. I can’t bother about what people say because some people are just on this earth to talk about others.

Do you believe her story?
In every rumour or lie there is an iota of truth.

MEET JOSHUA AGAI, THE BEAUTIFUL MAN

I don’t know what to say about the photos of this guy. His name is Joshua Agai. He is a model signed under Pflamez modeling agency. This 21 years old girl man says he is ready to do anything to be a professional model, and it includes styling himself like a woman. He said;

Decide what kind of model you hope to be. Technically, anybody can be a model. However, do remember that if you don’t meet certain requirements,m the work available to you would be incredibly limited, and you have to compensate in other departments.

Hmm!! I wonder what he meant. He won the crown for bayelsa’s best male model 2012/2013. See more photos of Joseph
