I don’t read the news, I make the news. The thing is people tend to look for loopholes when they see you doing well. And since people feel I’m feminine in nature, then they think I’m gay. But the truth is I don’t really care about what people say because I’m not fashioned according to what the society expects. And also I think for my personality, if I were gay, the news would have grown from speculations and would have been in people’s face.
On the part of Charley Boy and me, I was not expecting the paparazzi that came with the picture.
So what was the picture about then?
I really don’t want to go into details, but it could have been a controversial agenda, it could have a been a publicity stunt, it could have been the real deal and it could have been photoshopped, but whatever it was, people should just go ahead and make their conclusions.

What Google's new Nexus 7 is actually like to use

Google's original Nexus 7 was hands down the tablet to own in 2012. So does its long-anticipated successor do enough to maintain that "must-have" title?
I've been spending some time with the new Nexus 7, and my first impression is that it's basically a better version of the original -- everything that made the original so good with dramatically updated hardware and improvements all around.
I'll be taking the tablet with me on my honeymoon next month (yup, your ol' Android pal is tying the knot this weekend!) and will share detailed thoughts on the device once I'm back. I always like to spend a meaningful amount of time with a product before reaching any final conclusions and -- my fiancee's eye-rolling aside -- this is the perfect opportunity to put the tablet to the real-world test.
For now, though, some initial impressions on what the new Nexus 7 is actually like to use:

• The screen is, in a word, stunning. The original Nexus 7's display was passable, particularly given the device's small size, but it was never a high point. With the new model -- made, like the last one, by Asus -- the display is simply outstanding. The numbers don't lie: 323 pixels per inch is enough to make your eyes smile.

• I'm surprised by how much thinner and narrower the new Nexus 7 feels compared to its predecessor. The tablet is really quite svelte; though its display is actually the same size as the first-gen model's, the side bezels are significantly smaller. The tablet is actually a hair taller than its older brother, but what you notice most is the width; it's easier to hold with one hand and fit (albeit somewhat awkwardly) into a front pocket.*

*Unless you wear super tight skinny jeans, in which case -- let's be honest -- you probably use Apple products.

 

DJ Khaled Proposes to Nicki Minaj (VIDEO)

DJ Khaled is ready to settle down and wants Nicki Minaj to be his wife. The Cash Money DJ proposed to his YMCMB labelmate via a romantic videotaped message with MTV News.
“I love you, I like you. I want you, I want you to be mine,” says Khaled to the hip-hop bombshell. “I’ma be honest with you, I wanna marry you.”
He brings out a sparkly ring and pops the question. “Nicki Minaj, will you marry me?”
And he insists that he’s serious, explaining why he’s the best man for her. “You need a man like me in your life that’s gonna take care of you and respect you,” says the Miami hitmaker, whose album Suffering From Success drops September 24.
Khaled claims that he wanted to propose to Nicki last year on set of the video for “Take It to the Head.”
No word whether Nicki has accepted or even seen his proposal.

Dangote Set To Receive ‘Pride of Africa Award’

The characteristics of a fulfilled man. Dangote is one such man.
Chairman, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, will in September be honoured with Hall of Grace’s Pride of Africa Award in Lagos Nigeria.

 The Managing Custodian, Hall of Grace Awards, Rupert Ojenuwa, disclosed this during a briefing in Lagos.
He said the award, which is aimed at rewarding excellence and contribution to nation building, would also recognize other Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in different spheres of life including entrepreneurship, entertainment and philanthropy.
He said: “The Hall of Grace Awards was initiated to serve as a reward platform for deserving Nigerians. You know Nigeria is passing through a lot of challenges that could threaten our collective but despite this; we know that Nigeria is not as bad as portrayed and that a lot of people are actually working very hard to make things better.
“It is also true that criticisms are intended to make leaders work hard but praises such as this that our platform offers, could also make people who are already working hard to work harder.”
He explained that other Nigerians who would also receive awards include: Bayo Olugbemi for the Role Model Awards of the Year and Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State for Man of the Year Award.
He also disclosed that Inyanya, Olamide, KC, Chidimma and Wizkid had been nominated for the Best Hip Hop Act of the year award, while Funke Akindele, Ini Edo, Mercy Johnson, Yule Edochie, Frank Atus and John Dumelo were nominated for the Best Movie of the Year award.
Fans of the short listed celebrities are therefore expected to vote online for their choice candidates at www.hog.com beginning from August 2013.
The Hall of Grace Awards, which was put together by Chief Alex Akinyele three years ago, had had Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State and Murray Bruce of Silverbird Group as beneficiaries.- Vanguard

NAFDAC Warns:Don’t Eat Processed Rice Seedlings

The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has warned the people in Jigawa against buying treated rice seedlings meant for planting for consumption.
The NAFDAC Director in the state, Malam Abduljalal Manzo, issued the warning during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Thursday.
Manzo said NAFDAC had carried out a mop up operation in the area following reports by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) on the processing and sale of treated rice seedlings in Kazaure Local Government Area.
He said that the mop up revealed that some market women were processing rice seedlings and selling to the public for consumption.
Manzo said that two suspects involved in the activity were arrested and handed over to the agency by men of NSCDC.
“The NAFDAC laboratory analysis proved that there is serious accumulation of pesticide used in the treatment of the rice since it was meant for sowing.
“NAFDAC is warning the people selling this treated rice to stop the act because it is very dangerous and poisonous to health; it can kill instantly or even have a long time effect on the people.
“Lack of education is the main reason why most people are ignorant of the dangers inherent in patronising and consuming such kind of food.
“The agency will not allow such people to operate in the society because they are merchants of death,’’ he said.
Manzo said the agency was collaborating with the police, local governments, health officials and the emirate councils to mop up the treated rice and other unwholesome products with a view to safeguarding the lives of the people. – Vanguard
