''Nigeria has many uncountable problems and none of them is early marriage. As a matter of fact early marriage the solution to about half of our problems. For those who wonder if I can give my daughter(s) out in marriage at the age of 9 or 13, I tell you most honestly, I can give her out at the age of 6 if I want to and its not your business. This is because I am a Muslim and I follow the example of the best of mankind, Muhammad ﺻَﻠَّﻰ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻪِ ﻭَﺳَﻠَّﻢَ .

In Islam, marriage is not only about sex, it is about family and helping one another in achieving their goals, which is the attainment of Paradise.

In Islam, a girl can be given out in marriage as early as 6 years old, but consummation of the marriage can only be done when the girl becomes physically mature and she gives her consent to it because unlike English law, it is not permissible for a man to rape his wife in Shari'ah Law.

Jonathan, Northern Governors In Seperate Meetings With Obasanjo

President Goodluck Jonathan and former president Olusegun Obasanj, on Saturday held a closed-door meeting in Abeokuta, the Ogun capital.The meeting,which was held at Obasanjo's hilltop  residence, commenced at about 11.52 a.m. and lasted for about two hours.The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that security was tightened around Obasanjo' residence ahead of the president's arrival.Jonathan left Obasanjo's residence at 1.28 p.m. and headed for the family house of Dr Rueben Abati, the Special Adviser to the president on media and publicity.He went there to pay a condolence visit over the death of Mrs Taiwo Abati, the mother of his aide.
Almost immediately after the president's departure from Obasonjo's residence, four governors from the northern part of the country arrived at the former president's residence to hold a separate meeting with him.
The governors are Aliyu Wammako (Sokoto), Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano) and Sule Lamido (Jigawa).The meeting which was also held behind closed doors , lasted for about an hour.Nyako, who addressed journalists after the meeting described Obasanjo as the most accomplished Nigeria adding: "and he will remain as such ever."
"We have come to consult him with him on important matters," he added. (NAN)

Why We Rape Small Girls, Pastor Confesses

Child defilement is becoming a source of concern in Benin-City, Edo State capital. It is even more worrisome when the act is carried out by supposedly men of God.
In the last few weeks, no fewer than five children have, allegedly, been defiled in Benin-City by men old enough to be their fathers. On Thursday,  Edo State Police Command paraded 32 suspected criminals, amongst them, three accused of defiling children.
The suspects include  a pastor with the Deeper Life Bible Church, Abudu, Edo State, Eze Fidelis, who was said to have had carnal knowledge of two girls: Joy, 9, and Anthonia,11.There is also the case of one Grace, 12, who was sent on an errand by her mother to get her a rechargeable lantern from a hall within their compound. 
When the said girl failed to return after 30 minutes, the mother went in search of her, only to discover that one Segun Oteru,  42, was allegedly having carnal knowledge of her in the hall.The woman raised the alarm which attracted members of the public while the suspect was arrested.The incident happened on July 6. The following day,  one Saturday Cole, 35, and a co-tenant of the complainant (names withheld), allegedly lured the complainant’s daughter, identified as Mariam, 11, into his room and had a carnal knowledge of her.
While the victim was coming out from the suspect’s room, her elder brother saw her and, on inquiry, discovered that the victim was not putting on her pants. The victim narrated her ordeal in the hands of the suspect. According to the victim, “uncle has always bought me things but I didn’t know he wanted to have anything with me. He forced me and removed my dress, I was shouting but he closed my mouth and forced his penis inside me”.
On July 12, one Eugene Odozor, 46, allegedly took a 13-year-old girl, identified as Oluwabunmi,into his room and forced her to lie on his bed where she was said to have been defiled by the suspect. For Eze, the suspect in the September 11, 2013 alleged rape, luck ran out on him after one Joseph observed that his daughter Joy, 9, was not walking properly. While suspecting that the daughter may have been defiled, he invited her inside the room and threatened to deal with her if she refused to say the truth. The little girl allegedly that her pain started after she had sexual intercourse with the pastor. She further confessed that the pastor had intercourse with her friend, Anthonia, 11, too. Joy revealed that the unwholesome practice had been going on for about a year.

‘I Had SéX WIth My Cat

An Oklahoma City woman is accused of threatening her neighbor with a knife before announcing she had s*x with her cat. Kristina Michelle Brown, 23, allegedly brandished a pocket knife at her neighbor, 72-year-old Elmer Morrison, Monday afternoon and asked if he wanted to die, according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.
Morrison called the cops, and when a responding officer asked Morrison why she was threatening her neighbor, she allegedly replied, “Because of what he did to me… I had s*x with my cat and everyone knows.” She allegedly added that Morrison didn’t know she had s*x with the cat, she was just “mad at him and wants him to die.” Brown was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon. It’s unclear if Brown actually engaged in intercourse with her cat.

In 2011, though, an Iowa man was charged with animal abuse after police say he got high on meth and attempted to have s*x with a feline before throwing the animal out the window. The cat died as a result. Sometimes even the idea of bestiality is enough to spark violence. Last month, a Wisconsin man was accused of getting into a violent altercation at a bar after insisting it was a constitutional right to have s*x with a goat.

Nollywood Yoruba actress Taiwo Aromokun who got a surprise baby shower party from her twin sister and close friends few weeks ago has given birth to a set of twins.
According to information from London, UK, the talented actress gave birth to two boys on Saturday the 20th of July in a UK-based medical facility.
We learnt the Lust star’s actress travelled to the UK fews days after her baby shower for medical checkup and since then she hasn’t returned back.

The mother and her newborn babies are said to be in good condition.

Someone recently wrote the following comment on my friend's we're-home-from-the-hospital Facebook post: "Enjoy every second of motherhood!" Clearly the person who typed that was just spewing out a cliché, but I knew this particular new mom was having a tough time adjusting (healing from an unexpected C-section, sleep deprivation, latching issues, etc.), so I wrote her a message. "Um, you do NOT have to enjoy every second," I typed. "Some seconds (or even minutes or hours) can really suck. But it does get better!" I wanted to take off some of the "you have to be happy all the time now that you're a mom" pressure. She wrote back with an appreciative "ha!" and shared a moment she definitely had not enjoyed (I'll spare you, but it involved a wardrobe change for both mom and baby).
Anyway, our exchange got me thinking about other things well-meaning people say to us when we've just given birth. Those seemingly harmless comments and questions that can chip away at our fragile new-mom psyches. Because whether it's your first or your third, the initial few weeks with a newborn can be … emotionally messy. Even if you feel perfectly fine, you're still vulnerable, hormonal, sleep deprived, caring for a tiny human, trying to feed said human from your boobs, and healing from giving birth, which, last time I checked, is kinda painful no matter how you do it. I always felt emotionally great after giving birth, but I still had my breakdowns. My favorite was when Nora was 3 days old, and I decided that I hated her name and wanted to change it. I cried for an hour straight and then polled anyone who would listen on whether it would be OK to switch her to Charlotte or Natalie.
