Oh dear! There are reports that the legendary Ebenezer Obey might be suffering from Parkinson' disease -
– a nervous system disorder that causes tremors and difficulty with walking.

 It all began as insinuations but his performance at the Ebony Life TV launch, with rapper M.I, showed one shocking thing: that the musician is battling health issues.

"It was conspicuous he had difficulty seeing and walking alone and, many mouths opened for two reasons as he and M.I spent their time on stage.

There had been rumours, since his joint concert with on Sunday May 27 that Obey was battling Parkinson’s  Although nothing was confirmed officially, and Obey vehemently denied reports he was battling ill health, many sources told NET ‘his condition is a well known fact and he’s been managing it well for years, with the help of family members and friends.

24-hour Curfew Imposed In Yobe

The Joint Security Task Force (JTF) in Yobe State has imposed a 24-hour curfew in Potiskum local government area of the state, saying that the new measure took effect from Monday, August 5, 2013.
The JTF stated this yesterday in a statement issued by the Yobe State Joint Task Force (JTF) spokesman, Eli- Lazaru, in Damaturu, the state capital.
Lazaru also urged residents to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies by remaining indoors.
According to him, the residents of Potiskum local government town would remain indoors until the curfew is lifted.
He said that the JTF wished to appreciate the patience and cooperation of members of the general public with security agents, saying that cooperation and timely provision of information by people across the state had helped the JTF in its task of ensuring peace and security.
The JTF also urged the general public not to relent in reporting any suspicious movements in their communities or neighbourhoods and to continue to assist and cooperate with security agents in the interest of peace and security.
He called on the general public and entire people of the state to contact the JTF in the case of any breach of security in their areas.

A year after his wife Connie Madubuko died, the Head Pastor of Revival Assembly Church, Apostle Anselm Madubuko is getting ready to remarry.

Apostle Madubuko is set to marry 33 year old daughter of a bishop and Kenyan gospel award winning music star, Emmy Kosgei. Their traditional marriage will hold on Thursday August 29th in Kenya, while their church wedding will hold on Saturday August 31 at Revival Miracle Cathedral in Lagos. A reception will follow later at Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.
