Meet DJ Switch – Glo X-Factor Winner

The just concluded Glo X-Factor musical reality show ended on a high note and talented Obianuju Catherine Udeh aka Dj Switch was declared the winner. The young lady who wowed the judges and the audience of the first ever and biggest reality show in Nigeria, walked away with the princely sum of $150,000 prize money (₦24 million), an SUV and a recording contract with SONY Music.

The 29-year-old rapper adopted the stage name DJ Switch because of her versatility and ability to switch from one thing to another. She is from Udi, Enugu State, and studied Geology at the University of Port Harcourt. She worked briefly with Halliburton and is now a professional DJ. She grew up in Warri, Delta State, but lives in Abuja. “I have my trust in God. I believe everything happens the way it is meant to be and I am confident,” DJ Switch says, adding that she had always loved rapping.
