Pastor Adejare Adeboye charges Christians in the north to be steadfast

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian of God (RCCG), Pastor Adejare Adeboye, has enjoined Christians in the northern part of Nigeria to be steadfast in the faith and not to allow the prevailing insecurity to rob them of their salvation.

Pastor Adeboye, who gave the advice at the 2013 Northern Ministers and Workers Conference of the church at the Redemption Camp, Kassa, Plateau State, at the weekend, said on no account should they allow the insecurity to separate them from God.

He said: “Whenever a man is separated from God, terrible things will begin to happen. When a man leaves God, enemies will take control of him. So, don’t allow the situation in the north to take away your salvation. If they take everything you have and they can’t take away Christ from you, you are alright.

“When you are with God, He will build a wall of fire around you, but when a man allows himself to be separated from God, devil will take control of the fellow, so you need to be resolute and be more determined to serve God.”

Delivering a sermon on Sunday to end conference on the theme, ‘The God of Signs and Wonders,’ Pastor Adeboye  prophetically declared that it would be well with Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.
