The pastor of Household of God Church, Lagos , Chris Okotie may appear in court soon.
This is if the application of the defendant of a case the reverend pastor and his church, brought against a former member, Okiotor Dahiaghor who was the Church`s pianist for 12 years. According to the Ex-parte motion brought last Friday before an Ikeja Magistrate Court 27, Makanju Oshodi, Dafe as represented by his counsel, Robert Igbinedion, is asking the honourable court to compel Pastor Okotie to appear in person in court to testify in the suit he has against the defendant.
If the application of the defendant is granted, Pastor Okotie is to present to the court as exhibit, CCTV coverage of the purported scenes of assault of the defendant against Pastor Okotie at the premises of his church on 10th and 15th, July 2012.
The court will decide today May 10, 2013 whether the prayer of the defendant shall be granted. So the case was adjourned till today May 10 2013 for further hearing.
