A woman who is the owner of a popular buka in Portharcourt confessed last Saturday to using diabolical means to entice customers, as well as take their “destinies.”

Beware of where you eat food from.

According to eye witnesses, the woman, who is from Akwa Ibom, suddenly ran mad while at her buka located at Aleto in Eleme Local Government area of Port-Harcourt, Rivers state.

They say she suddenly started acting bizarre, tore her clothes and started confessing how she employed diabolical means for the growth of her business.

In her confession, she said she mixes water used to bathe corpses with her food, as well as water from her private part and menstruation blood. She said she did all these to attract customers whose “destinies” she used for the growth of her business and riches.

She then ran around town unclad, confessing her atrocities, appearing to have lost her sanity.

The news of her confession spread around the area, and some of her customers (including Okada men)  and angry onlookers descended on her and gave her the beating of her life, before Police men intervened
and took her away.

A man was caught and arrested in Miami last Thursday thanks to the persistence of a daughter who never forgot the man's name. He has reportedly confessed to the killing of a New York restaurant owner 26 years ago.

Justo Santos was just 16 years old when he shot New York restaurant owner Jose Martinez in the chest in front of his eatery in 1986. He fled the country for the Dominican Republic and was subsequently imprisoned for a year on an unrelated crime. It was during that time the NYPD improperly closed the case on Martinez's killing.

German Bank Employee Falls Asleep On Keyboard, Transfers Millions

 A tired German bank employee fell asleep on his keyboard and accidentally transformed a minor transfer into a 222 million euro ($311 million) order, a court heard.

The Hessen labour court heard that the man was supposed to transfer just 62.40 euros from a bank account belonging to a retiree, but instead “fell asleep for an instant, while pushing onto the number 2 key on the keyboard” – making it a huge 222,222,222.22 euro order.
The bank discovered the mistake shortly afterwards and corrected the error.


The case was taken to court by the man’s 48-year-old colleague who was fired for letting the mistake slip through when verifying the order.

The court ruled that the plaintiff should be reinstated in his job

Stop Comparing Suntai’s Condition To Late Yar’Adua, Taraba Govt Warns ‘Desperate Politicians’

National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur has been accused by a social reforms activist, Daniel Richards of having a hidden agenda in Taraba state following his alleged meddlesomeness in the affairs of the PDP chapter in the state.
Bamanga had about two weeks ago inaugurated an eight member committee led by Senator Hope Uzodinma to look into the crisis rocking the party in Taraba.
But in a parley with newsmen yesterday in Abuja, Richards said it was clear that the PDP chairman had overridden interest which could threaten the peaceful coexistence in Taraba state.
He described as unfortunate the situation when past cases like that of late President Umaru Yar’adua, Governors Sullivan Chime of Enugu and Liyel Imoke of Cross Rivers were swept under the carpet and the PDP never deemed it necessary to set up committees to ascertain their health conditions only to set up a committee in the case of  Governor Danbaba Suntai’s.
According to him, “Why didn’t they do the same to late Yar’ adua, Enugu and Cross River governors who stayed away for almost nine months? Is it not the same PDP, the same constitution they are operating? There is a foul play in this matter. And I challenge Bamanga and his crew to come clean and tell Nigerians the reason why they are selecting Danbaba.” .

Another Porn Movie Enters Nigeria From Ghana

These days, Nigerian street corners are saturated with movies that should only be sold discreetly in some designated outlets, due to their visible adult content.
But it has been gathered that most of the movies are brought into Nigeria from Ghana and as such do not pass through necessary screéning.

Reacting to the issue, Nigerian Censors Board head, Ms Patricia Bala, said:
“Because it’s an underground thing, it keeps coming up, and we have been trying to trace the sources enough to understand that most of these movies emanate from pornographic sites on the internet. We have been trying to trace the people who operate such sites on internet.
"We have been to Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC), and they said they don’t regulate content on the internet.
"Our next approach is to approach YouTube and other site managers that do such business, so that we can stop them. As a matter of fact, we want those sites to be blocked.”
I think the prolifération of ádult-contént movies on our streets should worry every right thinking person.

Apple Unveils Music Streaming Service

New York - Apple says its long-expected music streaming service will be called iTunes Radio and come free with advertisements included.Apple unveiled the streaming service Monday at its Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. Apple says iTunes Radio will personalize users' music based on what they've listened to and what they've purchased on iTunes.
The service integrates Apple's Siri virtual assistant so that users can get information by speaking questions such as "Who plays that song?"
Subscribers to iTunes Match, which costs $25 per year, will get a commercial-free version of iTunes Radio.
Apple says iTunes Radio will be available in the fall in the US. The service enters a competitive field. Google started an on-demand subscription music service called All Access last month. The service joins Spotify, Rhapsody and others.
